Blessings for All

The heroine fakes her death, and the hero goes mad; a wife-chasing inferno; they never confessed their love, and when they meet again, they’re strangers.

The crown prince, who had disguised himself as a commandery prince’s illegitimate son, devoted himself to revenge. He spent years lying low and honing his swordsmanship, only to destroy the heroine’s family in the course of his revenge. Once he reclaimed the throne, she faked her death, and from then on their paths in life and death diverged, leaving them strangers at opposite ends of the world.

Attendant 1: “Your Highness, Miss Shen died in that fire…”

Crown Prince: “Keep looking.”

Attendant 2: “Miss Shen really is buried in the grave…”

Crown Prince: “Keep looking.”

Attendant 3: “Your Highness, we’ve searched all 105 commanderies and kingdoms…”

Crown Prince: “I said, keep looking!”

Night after night, the desolate, lonely crown prince drinks and gazes at the moon, thinking of his beloved. Little does he know that the first portrait hanging behind him is of Shen Anruo, whose beauty was breathtaking and whose body was burned beyond recognition.

He searched for her a thousand times amid the crowd. Then, when he finally turned around, she was about to become another man’s wife.

The heroine cannot let go of her heartache, while the hero enters a living hell to win her back.

The second female lead asks in anguish: “Your Highness, have you ever even considered taking a crown princess?”

In a nutshell: I only wanted you to live, but I was too greedy.

Core themes:

1. Hatred keeps people alive, but only love can set them free.

2. Even if you fall into a muddy swamp, never abandon your ambition to rise above the clouds.

3. Using political schemes to control your ministers and letting ruthlessness devour integrity is no way to ensure a nation’s lasting prosperity.
