Feng Yang was a child Lian Tingwu picked up from a battlefield. She took her in as a disciple and taught her to farm, do chores, chop firewood, and cook.
From then on, Lian Tingwu could rest easy off to the side, waiting for her obedient disciple to feed her.
That was until Feng Yang turned seventeen, when Lian Tingwu pulled out a book titled The Art of Defying Heaven and Changing Fate and said, "The Immortal Cultivators' Grand Tournament, held once every ten years, is only two months away. You know, you're my only disciple."
Feng Yang: ???
(The author just writes whatever comes to mind, so there may be plenty of ridiculous parts. It's just a wish-fulfillment novel about showing off. Please spare me!)
