A Body with Life, but No Soul

Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to become an excellent lawyer: wear a suit, know the law by heart, and speak up for the weak.

My grandfather was always muttering about strange things. Whenever someone in the village died, people would ask him to come and help. As an atheist, I never took any of it seriously.

But as I grew older and entered university to study law, everything I believed was turned upside down.

I deal with all kinds of ghosts and monsters every day. I send good spirits on to reincarnation and destroy evil ones without a second thought.

But I’ve begun to ponder one question: What is good, and what is evil?

Yin-yang and feng shui, talismans and hand seals: things science can’t explain happen to me all the time.

From then on, I protect this world under a different identity.
