I Seek Immortality in the Mortal World

When Hongmeng first divided, Heaven and Earth came to be; chaos was broken, and the clear was distinguished from the turbid.

One sun, one moon, one yin and yang; one demon, one immortal, one righteous and one wicked.

Golden towers and silver halls stand alongside the Violet Mansion; the Jade Capital and Violet Heaven enter the Divine Court.

The names of immortals are forever recorded in the Register of Eternal Life, never falling into reincarnation, passed down through the ages.

This world is ruled by supernatural forces, which take the form of clans, dynasties, sects, and more. Cultivators seek profit, and so do the factions they belong to. Resources are limited, and competition is fierce. Humans devour humans, humans devour demons, and demons devour humans: an endless cycle of death. Low-level cultivators can be used to refine soul artifacts and corpse puppets, while high-level cultivators can be used to refine pills, treasures, and divine abilities... Immortals may seem to live in boundless splendor, but in truth their path is fraught with hardship and danger. The slightest misstep can mean death and the destruction of their Dao.

A young man from the modern world accidentally transmigrates to this realm. Rising from a backward land devoid of spiritual energy, he chances upon the path of cultivation and begins an epic journey in search of the Dao and eternal life.
