Reader advisory: This story has two female leads, and they fall in love at first sight, attracted by each other’s looks.
The original character was the master of Ji Xinyue, one of the harem members in a male power fantasy novel. She disapproved of her disciple getting together with the male lead, so she beat him, drove him away, and forbade her disciple from leaving. After the male lead obtained a golden finger, he destroyed the immortal sect and killed her. Ji Xinyue regretted her choices and fought the male lead, only to be defeated in a single move.
The furious original character summoned a System, which helped her return to a time before any of this happened. However, the System required her to switch lives with someone else. After much deliberation, the original character decided to follow the System’s instructions, but insisted that it tell her the ending first. The System then found Mu Rong Yun, an easygoing college student in another world, and switched their identities.
But this college student was not as simple as she seemed. She immediately started doing things in a completely unexpected way.
