There are so many shallow novels, especially wish-fulfillment stories. They’re written just to fit the premise, without even including the things that should be there for that genre. They’re not written for people to read. There are so many absurd stories where the characters’ intelligence gets dragged across the floor, and the writing makes it obvious the plot was thrown together on the spot.
