Dark clouds press down on the sky as countless bolts of lightning surge. A man and a woman stand side by side beneath the heavens.
More than a dozen people stand below them, dressed in glittering finery. Men and women alike, they are all elderly, their faces lined and their hair white. Grim-faced and on guard, they gaze up at the sky.
The man slowly speaks: “The road of reincarnation is severed, and immortality is beyond reach. This world is little more than a prison holding us captive. Today, I, Jun Wuyou, will use the sword in my hand to break open this cage. I will restore the road of reincarnation and ensure the path to immortality endures.”
Hearing the man's brazen words, the people below look at him with reverence.
All dozen or so cry out in unison, “Lord Wuyou, your righteousness is boundless!”
Then the woman says, “The great matters of the world have now been settled. We cannot know what dangers await us on this journey. If we succeed, all will be well. If we fail... then so be it!”
The people below cry out again, “Lord Tiandao, your wisdom is supreme!”
“Jun Tiandao, come with me. Let us go together and see the sights of that other world.”
The two soar into the sky, surrounded by ten thousand feet of radiant light, and charge toward the dark clouds above.
