Investiture of the Gods: Rampaging Through a Strange Three Kingdoms

“The Han court is unjust. Anyone who bears arms may take its place.” On a broad stretch of earth, Feng Zhen roared in fury and despair. Beneath the white clouds, upon the yellow earth, was there truly nowhere for the common people to live? Corrupt officials, venal clerks, crushing levies and taxes. As bandits slaughtered an entire village, Feng Zhen narrowly escaped death. Meanwhile, far away on Earth, Wei Xuan was drowning his sorrows in cigarettes and alcohol. The first thing you do after making it is dump the one you love. After his ex-girlfriend Liu Ruyan made it, she took aim at him first, scamming him out of a whopping 170,000 yuan until he couldn’t even afford a meal. Dazed, Wei Xuan woke up to find himself transported to the end of the Han dynasty. He came to his senses, instantly energized. The Three Kingdoms! I know this era! He thought it was finally time to make a name for himself, but from the start he got hit with ten lashes, each one a critical strike. Still reeling from the beating, Wei Xuan looked around at this world and couldn’t help shivering. The great demon Dong Zhuo swallowed an army of a million whole. Three members of the Taiping Way commanded wind and rain. Liu Bei wielded the Gu Ying sword art with fearsome skill… The land was crawling with the uncanny, and ghosts wailed everywhere. What was he supposed to do without a golden finger? No fear. Just fight! After N years of struggle, Wei Xuan finally rose to the imperial court. On the day the Yellow Turban Rebellion was put down and the Ling Emperor handed out rewards, he actually heard the names Li Cunxiao and Ran Min! What?! The Martial Conqueror Heavenly King? Now a powerful regional governor, Wei Xuan was dumbfounded. Only when a rift in space appeared did he realize that the Three Kingdoms was just the beginning. He would conquer Wei and attack Wu, campaign across the myriad heavens, and bring countless parallel worlds to heel. Then Wei Xuan would knock on the gates of the Primordial Realm. The Shang dynasty? The Investiture of the Gods? No, no, no. Ziya, I don’t think you’re up to handling this Investiture of the Gods. Come on, I’ll do you a favor and trade you this brick of tea for it.
