[One-on-one / sweet first, angsty later / happy ending]
For some reason, all the villains in the minor worlds refused to turn evil and only wanted to be good people. The plots couldn’t progress, and the Books of Fate were in chaos.
Hua Ling, a judge in the Underworld, was ordered by the Creator God to send her avatars into the minor worlds and make the villains turn evil so the plots could proceed. Her companion, Manshu, the red spider lily, was astonished to discover that the revered, aloof judge was actually a total drama queen!
Hua Ling eagerly accepted the mission and let loose in the minor worlds, but the longer she kept at it, the more depressed she became.
Fu Chen: “A Ling, do you love me? Even if it’s only for a moment?”
Wang Chen: “Your Highness, we still haven’t flown our kites.”
Yan Chen: “Master, can you take me as your only disciple?”
…
The pain of love gave rise to a heart of passion. After completing her mission and returning to her true self, Hua Ling meant to look through the Book of Fate and read about their lives and next incarnations. But guided by the sound of a flute, she arrived at the Bridge of Helplessness, where that person stood smiling gently at her.
Just as he had ten thousand years ago.
It's good to watch, but the ending feels a little too hasty.
