I think Naomi has a deep attachment to her sister, either because she lost her mother early, or because her sister's constant companionship and care made her unable to accept her after her sister got married. I think her interactions with Kiyoko and Ayako, on the other hand, are a transfer of attachment to her sister, and she places this feeling on other people. In fact, the character himself is very lonely. The process of getting acquainted with the dancer in Izu was also very beautiful, but in the end it did not have a good ending, as the protagonist originally expected.
