A thousand years after the Ten Continents were created, humanity's hearts have grown corrupt, filled with evil thoughts, greed, and violence, with obsession, resentment, and rage driving people to harm one another. The spiritual veins and divine consciousness of the Ten Continents sensed the vileness in human hearts and were painfully wounded by it. To the land of the Ten Continents, its inhabitants were like plague-ridden parasites afflicting a living body.
