The Loyal Guard Wants to Rise in Rank

Wen Tang endured nineteen years in pursuit of revenge and founded the Xilou organization. He has wealth enough to rival a nation, an intelligence network that reaches everywhere, and loyal guards willing to die for him. But to send the evildoers responsible for his family's downfall straight to hell, he still needs a powerful army. So he sets his sights on the 100,000-strong Luo family army, commanded by Luo Chengyun, the guardian general of the Duan Dynasty. After painstakingly becoming Luo Chengyun's bodyguard, Wen Tang finds himself drifting from his original purpose. He doesn't want to be merely his bodyguard anymore: he wants to become his husband. But he never expected his own young bodyguard, Meng Qiu, to feel the same way. Meng Qiu doesn't want to remain his junior fellow disciple either; he only wants to be his wife! Why is nobody content to stay in their place? This novel has a little melodrama, but not too much, with lots of mutual pampering and just a touch of angst.
