This book is most suitable for people who want to improve and further optimize their relationship. I believe that practicing the seven habits in this book can actually achieve the above goals. Here's a summary of seven habits:
Habit 1: Be proactive (don't play the "victim", don't act on something, and be eager to blame others)
Habit 2: Start with the end in mind (establish a mission statement - a vision and goals mutually recognized by both parties, and abide by the statement)
Habit 3: First things first (sort things by priority and do first things first)
Habit 4: Win-win thinking (support each other and see things from a "we" perspective rather than just "me" perspective)
Habit 5: Know others and understand yourself (communicate with others and listen correctly)
Habit 6: Integration and synergy (don't fight alone, cooperate honestly, complement each other's advantages, so that one plus one is greater than two)
Habit 7: Continuously update (constantly strive for self-improvement and be virtuous)
The most direct guidance object of this book is couples, but after promotion, it can be used between people who have established an intimate relationship (including but not limited to lovers and family members), and it can be used in general communication after being deduced and summarized.
It is recommended that you don't give up reading this book when you see a habit that you find difficult to accept for a while. You might as well read the discussion and situational interpretation of these habits in this book. If it is difficult to accept, you can also look at the next habit. When you stick to Habit 7 and read this book again after a while, you may have new feelings and you may accept this habit.
This book goes from personal responsibility (being proactive) to goal management (starting with the end in mind, putting first things first), then to relationship optimization (win-win, knowing oneself and the other, integrating and synergizing), and finally forms a closed loop through continuous growth (continuous updating). This set of habits covers workplace collaboration, intimacy, team management and other scenarios. The core is to use rational principles to drive communication, replace emotional-driven instinctive reactions, achieve the transformation from "inefficient disputes" to "efficient consensus", and help improve individual and team effectiveness. A very good book, I benefited a lot from reading it
The principles of efficient communication provided in this book are very practical! It reminded me of Nonviolent Communication, both books stressing the importance of establishing good communication. Moreover, the author Stephen Covey has a very profound point of view. He regards family relationships as the most important investment, which I very much agree with. He is like a wise mentor, teaching us in simple and easy-to-understand language how to build happier and more efficient relationships with family and friends. All in all, this is a book worth reading again and again.
It makes perfect sense and is simple, feasible and easy to implement. The Seven Habits is a classic. If people want things to get better, they must first analyze themselves honestly and rationally, and then take action to make changes.
I think this book is simple and easy to understand. It is very suitable for people who don't like to read long chicken soup books. The content of each chapter of this book is very rewarding, but I have a deeper understanding and grasp of intimate relationships.
The book is very short, but the content is very practical and the text is simple and easy to understand. We need to practice it together and use it in our families and in our lives. It is worth reading again and again until you practice it thoroughly.
Very good, worth reading while listening and reflecting.
This book tells the current situation of many people
A great book, thank you author
Combined with cases, practical
Rolling, rolling, thinking about it so much, I like it so much
Very well written and very inspiring after reading it
From the book, I learned how to become a positive person.
The expression is a bit verbose, but it is very connotative and the views are worth learning.
Worth reading, it explains in detail the intimate relationship between family and husband.
It mainly talks about how to maintain the relationship between husband and wife and promote the development of the family. It is a very practical book.
Very good 👍, let me know that family comes first, partner comes first
It's quite interesting. It's different from my current values, and it gives me more ideas to think about. Among them, I think it is very important to create family traditions. I will try it if I have the opportunity in the future.
Very practical. Easy to understand, think after reading.
I learned a lot and applied it in my life and work.
