My name is Pony Curtis, and my friends call me Pony.
Two years ago, my parents were killed in a car accident, and my two older brothers had to drop out of school and work to support the family. Children like us who come from poor families are incomparable to the "Young Master Gang" who drive luxury cars, and we are not even considered middle class. Most of my best friends are like this. They come from humble origins and are tough and ruthless.
In the eyes of others, we are aggressive, ineffective street gangsters. But for us, the partners we spend every day with are our real family. We share similar interests, are close to each other, and help each other.

The protagonist group should not fight in this street for the rest of their lives, they will have a good life. If possible, they can live in the countryside like Pony Boy wants and enjoy the sunset together, but I think Darla, Soda and Twenty-Fifty will definitely not be able to sit still... It would be great if this is really the case. This book is worth reading again and again.
