The Heaven-Mandated Investiture Master

To be granted a title means to be ennobled and officially recognized.

Humans are the most intelligent of all living things, yet our bodies are inferior to animals', our lifespans shorter than plants', our strangeness less than monsters', and our spirits weaker than ghosts'. Why? Because all the spiritual essence of heaven and earth has been concentrated into a single privilege: the power to grant titles.

Destiny has chosen Yu Sheng to wield this power. With bright eyes and pearly teeth, his words become law. He can point to a fish in the river or sea and turn it into a dragon, or gesture at a tiger in the mountains and forests and give it wings. Dashing in his green robes, he can stir up the world with just a pair of red lips.

A new title-granter has emerged. Will he be a walking delicacy, coveted by all, or a lone wanderer passing through the mortal world?
