The Top Scholar Detective

This is a story centered on the protagonist, Yi Xuan.

It follows Yi Xuan, who suffers from severe mental illness because of his childhood experiences, through his life in high school. There, he meets geniuses from all over the country, befriends them, and gradually grows as a person.

Yi Xuan is the leader of the Abyss. But an incident in his childhood robbed his eyes of their color and set him on a path of defying the gods. Many people accompany him and help him grow along the way.

He fears none of the gods worshipped by humanity, but he is afraid of losing the people around him. That fear makes him painfully timid. In the end, however, those close to him change everything.

Whenever he feels lost, someone is there to ask what is wrong and show him the way.

When he is sad, his friends comfort him.

When he is pleased with himself, someone shares in his happiness.

Most of all, he meets someone capable of changing his entire life.

He says, “You should smile more.”

She replies, “You’ve already made me do it so many times.”

Whenever that happens, Yi Xuan does his best, all for the sake of those beautiful eyes.
