Transmigrated as the Male Lead's Cannon-Fodder Second Senior Brother

As an overworked office drone, Xun You has only one hobby besides working: reading novels. But the latest book he's been reading, Cultivating the Dao, has gone on hiatus, leaving him so restless he finally couldn't help sending the author a message asking for an update.

To his surprise, the instant he sent it, he transmigrated into the book, becoming the doomed second senior brother who shared his name.

The doomed second senior brother had always secretly loved his junior brother. But the aloof junior brother had countless admirers and never even noticed him.

Using his status as an elder's son, the second senior brother tried to force the junior brother to be with him. In the end, one of the junior brother's admirers schemed to have him killed while he was away seeking an opportunity for cultivation.

Now that Xun You has transmigrated into the story, he spends every day on edge. He avoids bothering his junior brother, but the junior brother comes to him instead, bringing along their grandmaster. Xun You looks at the junior brother, whose ears have turned red, and the beaming grandmaster.

His face fills with confusion. Which part of the story has gone wrong?
