Tipsy Rice Wine

[Sleepy genius musical girl VS aloof, awkward boy]

[Love at first sight, mutual pining, reunion after years apart]

At their first meeting, Ye Qianmian saw nothing but Qi Zhijue's back, yet she couldn't help secretly following him. When asked why, she answered without batting an eye, “Because you attracted me.”

After that, Qi Zhijue was often at a loss over his new neighbor's strange behavior, yet for some reason he wanted to get closer to her. But their closeness came to an end when the spring of the year they met was over.

One night, years later, they meet again. Ye Qianmian takes a sip of the rice wine in her hand and, gazing at their friends laughing in the courtyard, asks Qi Zhijue with a smile, “Why do you think I'm like rice wine?”

Qi Zhijue glances at the rice wine in her hand, then looks into her eyes, his gaze burning. “Because rice wine used to cook tangyuan preserves their original flavor while bringing out a new one.”

“And I'm the tangyuan in the rice wine,” Ye Qianmian hears him say next.

You are the rice wine, and I am the tangyuan. Your arrival has brought a new me into being.

Ye Qianmian: “In the classroom, beneath the evening sky, you were the crush of my youth.”

Qi Zhijue: “Through every season and every meal, you are the love of my life.”
