Don't Move, Let Me Kiss You

Shen Ruo wakes up one day to discover she’s the cannon-fodder female supporting character in a melodramatic romance novel. In her pursuit of the male lead, she does one stupid thing after another, suffers endless bullying, and eventually dies.

Shen Ruo: What man? Is he really worth me risking life and limb over? I don’t like him anymore!

After losing interest in the male lead, Shen Ruo devotes herself to her studies. Every day, all she does is study.

Strangely, there’s always someone by her side.

Zhou Lin.

In her dream, he was the female lead’s beloved, but he had little to do with her, and Shen Ruo didn’t know how his story ended.

Zhou Lin comes from a wealthy family and excels in school. But after one family misfortune after another, people are afraid to get close to him. They’ve even nicknamed him the “Jinx.”

Only Shen Ruo, like a naive little kitten, wanders into his world as naturally as can be.

She’s just so careless, though, always getting bullied until she’s a complete mess.

Worried about her, Zhou Lin can’t keep his eyes off the girl.

Little scene:

One day, Shen Ruo discovers the original female lead chatting with Zhou Lin.

Shen Ruo asks Zhou Lin, “What were you two talking about?”

Zhou Lin says with a straight face, “She said you like me.”

Shen Ruo: “She made that up!”

Zhou Lin doesn’t look surprised at all. “That’s a shame.”

Shen Ruo: “What’s a shame?”

Zhou Lin leans closer and deliberately whispers, “I thought you liked me.”

Shen Ruo: “…”

Zhou Lin lowers his gaze to Shen Ruo’s moist lips. Before she can react, he drops another bombshell.

“Because I like you.”
