Arknights: Travels of Terra

This book is a tribute to Asimov's "Foundation" series and Liu Cixin's "Ball Lightning", which are the source of inspiration for my story. The continent of Terra is not a beautiful land. Natural disasters, severe infectious diseases, and monsters hidden everywhere. The continent is divided into pieces of land by various borders. Miraculous mobile cities are running on the land. The city controllers look at the Originium and the people under their control indifferently. The Originium burning in the heart of the city is the food of civilization and also the poison. Someone wants to save the land, even if it means erasing civilization's survival instincts. (For works that borrow the worldview framework of the game "Arknights", almost no original characters will appear. The plot direction is completely different from the game, and the overall worldview is completely different from the game. Fans of the original work are advised to watch at their own discretion.) (Perhaps, a hard science fiction book?)
