Beyond the Curtain

What is the apocalypse? I thought about it.

I thought of the lights in countless homes going out one by one before dawn,

of figures rushing out beneath the setting sun to fight for survival,

of the countless human graves beneath the moon.

When calamity strikes and an invading race arrives,

will you be a sheep or pig waiting for slaughter, or an ant that dies charging into battle?

This is the story of all humanity,

a poem written by a group of people.

At the end, let us raise the weapons in our hands and shout:

"For humanity!!"
