This book is very good! It systematically tells the history of Hawaii, from the natural environment to the social economy, giving me a deeper understanding of Hawaii. Moreover, the content in the book is very organized and centered on characters and events, making it very attractive to read. I especially like the description of the changes in the king's rule in the book, it's wonderful! However, I kind of hate characters who wreak havoc in history. Overall, this book is a good read for anyone like me who is interested in Hawaiian history.
