From the Start, the Female Lead Refuses to Be a Tool in This Crematorium Romance

[The heroine chases the hero, but never catches him + love at first sight + secret crush + both leads are inexperienced]

Everyone in their circle knew that Su Qiu loved Zhao Yuan.

Su Qiu fell in love with Zhao Yuan at first sight, so when he asked her to date him, she happily agreed and quietly devoted herself to him for two whole years.

Although Zhao Yuan seemed rather cold throughout their relationship, Su Qiu believed that if she just tried hard enough, she could win him over.

She was convinced that sincerity could overcome anything.

Until one day at a gathering, when a friend asked whether he'd developed feelings for Su Qiu. She heard the man casually answer from outside the door: “No.”

When the person across from him asked why he'd dated Su Qiu, Zhao Yuan crossed his legs, his handsome features cold and aloof, and replied in a completely emotionless voice: “Ms. Li was pressuring me at the time, so I got together with her.”

For two years, Zhao Yuan had grown used to the figure who was always quietly waiting behind him. He'd never believed Su Qiu would leave him, and even after receiving her breakup text, he remained confident.

Su Qiu's passionate, sincere love had made him reckless.

Only later did he notice that a handsome, gentle man with refined features had appeared at Su Qiu's side, and there was no longer any trace of Zhao Yuan in her eyes.

Only then did Zhao Yuan realize with a shock that he might have truly lost the person whose whole heart and gaze had once belonged to him.
