Synopsis

This book is a historical novel. The background of the story is taken from the period of the Five Hus and Sixteen Kingdoms where heroes arose. The protagonist Wang Meng is a poor scholar in Wei County, but he has great ambitions, hidden strategies, and lives in seclusion and is not an official. When Huan Wen, a powerful official in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was on his northern expedition to Guanzhong, Wang Meng, wearing a brown robe, saw him and talked while picking up lice, which shocked everyone.
