Synopsis

Supernatural horror + dark themes + episodic stories

I accidentally provoked the Greedy Face, one of a three-faced deity, and an evil spirit destroyed half my face. My old friend was possessed by the Wicked Face and, seeking eternal life, turned on me with a blade.

A village where people were eaten, the Pandora's box appearing, Jianmu breaking through the earth... One crisis after another plunged the world into peril.

At last, I saw through the truth: the so-called elixir of immortality was no salvation, but a cruel scam in which the gods harvested mortal lives.

When Mount Penglai descended, old friends became enemies and evil spirits invaded, leaving the world beset by danger. How could I escape a fate that had already marked me for sacrifice?

Everyone can recommend just one personal top pick. Please don't suggest books with inflated ratings. I've read most of the famous ones, so I'm looking for something fresh.
