[Alternate history + Strong female lead + Farming + Nation-building + Cuisine] Jiang Han, heir to a reclusive modern-day family, transmigrated into a bandit in a war-torn era. With too little to eat and nothing decent to wear, she looked at the old and the young in the stronghold, all crying out for food, sighed, accepted her fate, rolled up her sleeves, and got to work. Determined to build a prosperous life, she cultivated land and opened up new fields, raised fish in the rice paddies, searched for better seeds, and boosted crop yields. What? Someone came to steal their food? She beat every last one of them until they were crying for their mothers. Even the city lord came after her, but Jiang Han just shrugged. No one was going to leave her hungry. She dared to take the city lord down and continued leading the city’s people to prosperity. But the man beside her complained bitterly, “Wife, you can’t abandon your husband, the one who stood by you through thick and thin.”
Why is no one commenting! Great article! Infrastructure consistent with the text. The heroine has martial arts skills and no other excessive gold fingers. The plot is also interesting. It's rare for Tomato to see a story about a heroine that's not overly outrageous and has a readable foundation. I haven't finished it yet because I can't bear to finish it.
