Kneel and Be Spoiled

“The young master is back!”

“The young master is back!”

The butler announced his return in a hurry.

“Mother!” Yan Cheng ran into the hall.

“Smash!” Wang Jie hurled her teacup to the floor.

“Mother…” Yan Cheng instinctively fell to his knees.

“Are you trying to rebel?” Wang Jie’s voice was angry, yet helpless.

“Mother, Chengcheng just wanted to come back and see his little sister…” Yan Cheng lifted his young, defiant face, his eyes red-rimmed.

Chengcheng, do you know how much your mother misses you?

Chengcheng, do you know how many enemies the Yan family has?

Chengcheng, do you know how dangerous it is for you to come back now?

Chengcheng, you are the lifeline of our family!

From the seat of the family matriarch, Wang Jie suppressed the tightness in her chest, accepted the fresh tea offered by the butler, took a sip, and coolly ordered, “Bring out the family punishment.”

“Huh?” The butler was at a loss, hesitating. “Madam, the young master has only just returned from abroad…”

“What, are my words no longer enough?” Wang Jie forced herself to stay calm as she looked down at her son’s young body, her heart breaking.

“I wouldn’t dare, Madam.” The butler quickly knelt on the floor, head bowed.

“Then carry it out at once.”

“Yes, Madam.”

In the hall, the sound of the ruler striking flesh rose and fell. Young Yan Cheng lay across the punishment bench, his pale fingers clutching it tightly. His brows and eyes bore a striking resemblance to Yan Shi.
