So Fate Is a Scripted Game

Before each soul is born into the world, its script is already laid out according to its karma. To keep souls from coming to the human world like puppets performing a play, fate also grants everyone free will. In her first life, Qing Ci was abandoned by her fiancé, Shen Nanchen. Later, she was framed, and the man she loved sent her to a brothel. Qing Ci saw hell on earth. She endured beatings and finger-crushing torture, was branded, and had her backbone broken as she was humiliated. Later, when she became pregnant, Shen Nanchen’s stepmother brought her into the family as a concubine, making her a pawn in the household’s internal power struggles. As a woman confined to the inner courtyard, Qing Ci heard about the princes fighting for the throne and brothers turning against one another. Later, Qing Ci watched with her own eyes as her maternal uncle’s entire family was convicted and executed because of her. She learned the truth behind the conspiracy. In her next life, Qing Ci was handed the same script once again. But one change of heart altered her fate. She became an invincible female general and witnessed the princes fighting for the throne and brothers turning against one another with her own eyes. In her first life, she was beneath millions. In her second life, she stood above millions. And the reason for this change wasn’t that Qing Ci had learned her script in advance. It was because she held the greatest trump card of all... If I do not go to hell, who will?
