Plucking Flowers with Abandon

Li Tingshen, the young master of the Li family, had pale blue eyes and exquisite features that captivated countless girls.

Su Yao was also swept up in his charm. At last, she gathered the courage to confess her feelings to him.

“Li Tingshen, your image is always on my mind. I see you everywhere. Will you be the one who holds a place in my heart?”

He gazed at the woman before him, his beautiful eyes utterly indifferent, and gave a slight nod. She thought that if she stayed by his side, he would slowly come to love her. Even if he only liked her a little, that would be enough. Until the day she went to bring him some clothes...

“Young Master Li, you’re having fun at the club. Doesn’t your little girlfriend mind?”

“She won’t. She’s not my girlfriend.”

“Young Master Li, don’t you like Su Yao at all?”

“You know the person I like is already beyond my reach. It makes no difference who’s by my side.”

“Young Master Li, have you fallen for her?”

“I won’t fall for her. She’s just a toy. I’ll throw her away when I’m bored.”

“Young Master Li, you really are heartless.”

She should have known. He had never said he loved her. It had only ever been one-sided. A toy?

After returning to the villa, she packed a few things and left. He never imagined that the woman who had always stayed by his side would leave so decisively.

The next time he saw her was at a party.

“Yaoyao, come back to me, please. I’m begging you.”

“Li Tingshen, I can’t handle you.”

“Yaoyao, I’ll do whatever you say.”
