Dark Forces

Ever since I can remember, I had no father.

In fifth grade, my mother took me with her when she married my stepfather.

No one knows how painful my childhood was, or that I grew up being beaten by my stepfather!

Later, my mother died. Before she passed, she told me, "Shang Liang, you are your own person. You are Shang Liang, and you are kind."

I steeled myself, grabbed a knife, and stabbed my stepfather in the butt...

I have a heart that kills without hesitation, yet I can't bear to see people suffer!

I am still me. I am Shang Liang, and I am kind.
