Someone's Behind the Door

A month ago, a body was pulled from the lake at my school.

The police took me to the station.

Because I knew there weren't just one body in the lake, but three.

They just couldn't see the others.

That day, deep in the dark lake, she spoke to me with her eyes closed:

"Shh. Be careful. There's someone behind the door."
