He also became childhood friends with the gambling addict Qingque. Memories of his short-lived species in his previous life drove him to work himself to the bone. After pushing himself to the top, Tang Ying realized there was nothing left to strive for, and life was about to become dull. Just then, he was blessed by the Aeon of Preservation and became a four-star Preservation character with the Imaginary attribute. Soon after, he learned that his younger sister was stranded in Teyvat. … Decades later, legends of the gambling addict Qingque spread across Teyvat. Barbatos: “Give Qingque an unlimited energy bar, and he’ll reward you with a miraculous nuclear explosion.” Zhongli: “The sight of Tang Ying piloting a stone giant and battling Osial in the sea. It’s something one never forgets.” Raiden Ei: “…Miko and I are very happy. Thank you, Tang Ying, for bringing us together.” Nahida: “The captain of my bombing squad…” Tang Ying: “Orobashi! Have you ever heard of the Jaeger?” Qingque: “This is a high-stakes gamble, friend. Win, and we’ll be invincible. Lose, and it’ll all have been an accident.” Throughout their journey, a blonde girl was always following behind Tang Ying. At Stormterror's Lair, the blonde girl left him with one last sentence, then turned and walked into the Abyss. “You shouldn’t have come back, Brother. Your contract with the Heavenly Principles has been fulfilled. You shouldn’t have to suffer the pain of reincarnation any longer.”
