The Summer You Disappeared

Jiang Xili transferred schools under the pretext of returning a keychain to the person who had once saved her life. In truth, she just wanted to see him again.

Who knew he would turn out to be her new deskmate?

And a handsome, brilliant student who barely spoke a word.

Jiang Xili regretted it just a little. So what if he was handsome? That didn’t mean he could ignore people.

“Hi, I’m your deskmate, Jiang Xili.”

“Mm.”

“What a coincidence, we take the same bus home.”

“Mm.”

“Wake me when the teacher gets here. I’m going to nap.”

“...”

Whatever. I, Jiang Xili, will just keep talking... Later, Yan Qi tapped her on the head with a test paper. “You really are Xili... utterly clueless.”

Then another summer came, but she could no longer find him. No one ever reached the destination they had promised to travel toward together.
