The Working Stiffs of the Jianghu

If you're interested, give it a try. There are some clever bits along the way, and the story has both joy and sorrow.

One passage sums it all up:

Some are born as lowly as ants. Their lives stretch for thousands of miles, yet every step is an ending.

Some are born into wealth. Their years hold a thousand feelings, and every season is romantic.

And some are brilliant and peerless in martial arts, yet in someone else's game of chess, they have long since become a discarded pawn.

Fate is greater than Heaven, yet some people can command the winds and rain, and manipulate the lives of others.
