“Mo Bai, what are you doing?”
Mo Bai looked at the girl before him and said helplessly, “Stop clinging to me.”
The girl lowered her head.
“Mo Bai, did I do something wrong?”
Mo Bai stared at her, speechless. “Hongmeng Mengxin, are you joking with me?”
Mo Bai turned and walked down the golden-yellow street, where cars passed back and forth.
The girl lowered her head.
“Have you forgotten? You liked me so much. Mo Bai, you liar.”
“Then I won’t tell you.” Mo Bai looked toward the city ahead, his heart filled with helplessness.
“I’m the one shouldering everything.” Mo Bai rubbed his forehead helplessly.
“What am I supposed to do, Hongmeng Mengxin? Then I’ll leave your world forever.” Mo Bai closed his eyes and walked straight into the road.
Nothing unexpected happened.
Everything around them was utterly silent.
One stunning figure after another appeared beside Mo Bai.
“Divine Consort, don’t make things difficult for us.” A rather cold voice rang out.
Only then did Mo Bai open his eyes.
He looked at the woman before him and at everything around them, frozen in place.
“Impressive. No wonder you’re an upper-class human. You’re only a lower-class one, so why do you insist on clinging to him? What are you people after?” Mo Bai said mockingly.
“Go back, Divine Consort,” the woman said coolly. Then she said nothing more.
After a brief silence, Mo Bai stepped back to the side of the road.
