This book is great! Ye Shengtao's prose is realistic and delicate, just like Zhu Ziqing's prose, which always makes me feel the small beauties in life. I especially like the parts of his book that describe civilian life, they feel very real. Moreover, his writing is plain and easy to read, just like chatting with a friend, which makes people feel very friendly. His prose is somewhat similar to Wang Zengqi's style, both have charm.
