Synopsis

This series is a reorganization of resources. It is planned to be based on the recently published "Illustrated Collection Series of Ancient Chinese Novels" (11 types), "Chinese Heroes Series" (6 types), "Four Condemnation Novels" (4 types), and "Four Kinds of Qing Dynasty Novels" (4 types). It is planned to be compiled into an overall series, which basically covers the most widely circulated and best-selling varieties of Chinese classical novels. The hardcover format makes up for the lack of ordinary hardcover editions of classical novels currently available in our publisher, and the overall set is conducive to large-scale distribution.

Hey, I recently read this book "The Complete New Notes on Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio", and it really opened my eyes! Pu Songling created many vivid characters in his writing, and some of the stories are really interesting. I have to say, though, I kinda hate those evil monsters that always cause trouble for good people. But it also makes the story more exciting! Overall, this is a wonderful book with very detailed annotations that gave me a deeper understanding of ancient culture. Recommended to friends who like classic novels!

The writing style is fresh and elegant, and the narrative has twists and turns, ups and downs, some resentment, some excitement, some endless aftertaste, some heaven and earth, mundane things, exotic flowers and plants, weird elves, ghosts and monsters, which seem to persuade, complain, warn, admire, and mourn...
