The male protagonist, Lin Chen, wakes up one day in a strange place. A mysterious voice appears in his mind: “Welcome, Host, to the Spirit Taming Continent.” This world is home to a remarkable kind of creature. Some are gentle, while others are savage. The gentle ones can form contracts with humans and become “spirit pets,” and people who own spirit pets are known as spirit tamers. The savage creatures are called “demon beasts,” and they occupy 60 percent of Planet Earth. Some spirit tamers can even subdue demon beasts and turn them into spirit pets. People trade parts of demon beasts for the universal currency, spirit coins. Since hunting demon beasts is profitable, many mercenary groups have been established across Planet Earth. Lin Chen is about to begin an extraordinary adventure on this strange continent!
I feel like the characters are well described and the language is quite humorous.
