Three Kingdoms: A Battle Royale of Legendary Generals

Political intrigue + war + no invincibility + golden finger

The first two volumes cover Yuan Xi’s life, so the pacing is relatively slow. The golden finger officially activates in Volume Three, when famous generals from China and abroad, from every era, begin appearing one after another. That’s when the main story really begins.

Volume One: Turmoil in Youzhou, mainly focused on suppressing bandits in Youzhou.

Volume Two: Wei Lai Arrives. Yuan Xi and Wang Song fight a major battle in Youzhou. Since this takes place late in Yuan Xi’s career, the plot gets a little angsty.

Volume Three: Storm over the Three Han, Wei Lai’s rise to power. Starting on the Korean Peninsula, he takes on the Central Plains.

Yuan Xi, a son of Yuan Shao barely mentioned in historical records of the Three Kingdoms era, is hunted down and meets Zhao Yun, when a quest System suddenly activates.

After the Battle of Guandu, just as Yuan Xi is about to die, Wei Lai takes over his body. Armed with a famous-generals System, he starts his quest to conquer the realm all over again.
