“Dad, how many times have I told you? Ghosts and gods only exist in legends. We have to believe in science!”
“Son, watch closely. Your father will demonstrate this just once!”
The boy was stunned by what he saw!
That year, when disaster struck his village, everything happening around this young materialist, who had never believed in ghosts or evil spirits, completely upended his worldview.
Vengeful ghosts rising from the river, zombies deep in the mountains, the sinister witchcraft of the Miao frontier: all of it seemed tied in countless ways to his father and an evil cult called the Yellow Heaven Sect... And his father was a successor to the Thunderclap Universalizing Heavenly Venerable of the Nine Heavens Responding to the Origin Palace.
Watch as the boy, swept along by the turning wheel of fate, sets out on a path to uphold justice, slay demons, and rid the world of evil!!!
