The martial arts alliance, which ruled the jianghu for decades, falls apart overnight. As the sole descendant of Zhou Zeming, its former leader, Wei Chaoyang is forced to conceal his identity and live in constant fear within the Jiayang Sect.

But as he grows older, calls to restore the martial arts alliance grow louder, and even the imperial court gets involved.

During an unexpected trip, Wei Chaoyang, his junior brother Song Nian'an, and his junior sister Zhou Jia accidentally stumble upon a case involving an apprentice pharmacist.
