Protecting Our Home

More than twenty thousand years ago, nearly ten thousand ancient humans lived in what is now Zhoukoudian Town, Z Country. Several beams of light descended, carrying three thousand of them to another planet, which they named M749. Their brains were enhanced, and their leader guided the rest in carrying out the instructions of “Heaven.” Using their newfound intelligence, they lived on their new planet for more than twenty thousand years. Then their leader began organizing the people to build a spaceship and complete their final mission: return to their original planet and find its protectors. To that end, they devised the “Return to the Tribe Plan” and the “Gift Plan.” But three years before the plans were due to launch, a mysterious species invaded M749. The three thousand ancient humans were brutally slaughtered, and only 049 escaped. Carrying the hopes of more than two thousand people from his tribe, he sets out on a lonely journey.
