The Nameless Demon-Slaying Chronicles

Wuming's real name is Feiyun. He was a great lamp-lighting deity under the Buddha, but after being wrongly punished and cast down to the mortal world, he was found by his father, Jingang, who raised him like his own son.

Though Wuming had become mortal, he dreamed the same dream from childhood onward. In it, an old immortal told him that he was a celestial being who had been punished and cast down to the mortal world. He had to fulfill his duty of vanquishing demons, and could return to Heaven only after completing his trials.

During his adventures, he also meets the most important ally in his life, the vessel fairy "Mu Sen," who helps him. They come to understand and support each other along the way, and later meet the "chivalrous thief Ling Yun," the beauty Zhao Yanran, Mu Sen's little attendant "Fox Ears," the golden demon "Jin Shui," and others.

The group had been carefree companions, traveling the martial world together and enjoying themselves. But after an unforeseen turn of events, Wuming, trying to protect Mu Sen, cruelly drives her away. Believing him, Mu Sen is heartbroken and decides to be remade in the furnace, upgrading into a vessel fairy with even greater immortal power. After her transformation, she is no longer Mu Sen.

Her appearance is unchanged, but her eyes and bearing have become those of someone else.
