Synopsis

The compiled version of "Dream of Red Mansions" published by our publisher in 1953 under the name of "Writers Publishing House" was originally a proofread and annotated version. It was based on Cheng Yi's version, with punctuation corrections by Zhou Ruchang, Zhou Shaoliang, Li Yi, etc., And Qi Gong's annotations. It has unique academic value. After many reprints and revisions, it has a great influence among readers. Later, because our publisher published the new annotated version of "A Dream of Red Mansions" by the Red Research Institute, this version stopped being published in 1981. 2018 Is the 65th anniversary of its publication. This "Dream of Red Mansions: Commemorative Edition" is really great! I especially like the plot in it. The love story between Baoyu and Daiyu is very touching. Moreover, Mr. Qi Gong's annotations are also wonderful, which gave me a deeper understanding of the characters and plots in the book. I feel like this is a classic worth reading.
