Hey, I recently read this set of "Collected Works of Gogol" and it really made my eyes light up! The author Gogol is really amazing. His works cover various genres, and each one is so wonderfully written! I especially like "The Imperial Envoy" and "Dead Souls", with their ups and downs and vivid characters. However, I kind of hate some of the characters in it, such as the vain mayor, which is really annoying to watch. Overall, this is a set of books worth reading. The translations by Man Tao, Peng Kexun and Bai Sihong are also excellent, allowing us to better appreciate the literary charm of Gogol.
