Soldiers, Advance!

This novel is also known as The Prequel to Soldiers Sortie! It mainly tells the story of Shen Jiayi, a modern veteran who, after an accident, transmigrates into the body of a new recruit named Xiang Qianjin in 1988. He becomes a fellow villager, childhood friend, and comrade-in-arms of Shi Jin from Soldiers Sortie. The two go through thick and thin together! Drawing on his memories of the future, Xiang Qianjin gradually changes the fates that would otherwise await Shi Jin, Gao Cheng, Wu Liuyi, Squad Leader Lao Ma, Xu Sanduo, Cheng Cai, and a host of other characters. But this is, first and foremost, a military novel. Alongside its science fiction, the author hopes readers will learn about soldiers and the spirit of the military, and come to understand the true meaning of the words “never abandon, never give up,” the motto of the Steel Seventh Company! The characters' relationships are full of twists and turns, and the story is rich and colorful! Best of all, this is not a military novel with no female lead! I promise it will be a refreshing read!
