[Strong female lead + power progression] Lin Ping inherited a livestreaming System as a child, but it was utterly unreliable. It vanished the moment they met, then stayed gone for fifteen years. When it finally showed up again, it needed an upgrade, which took more than half a year. During those months, Lin Ping went through so much that she nearly forgot all about it. A bear that had become a spirit took over her university campus, and she was sent to watch the gate. When she was stranded in the wilderness, she ran into a fox spirit and shamelessly followed it into the mountains. Then she heard her family was in trouble and rushed down the mountain to find them… On the way down, the livestreaming System finally finished upgrading and made its presence felt again. By then, though, Lin Ping had lost interest in it. She told it to protect her privacy and then let it do as it pleased. As for her, she had a problem of her own: through one strange coincidence after another, she had signed agreements with monsters, and returning to human society now seemed all but impossible.
Lin Ping: I don’t need riches or glory. I just want to live in peace.
