Hong Kong Chronicles: Starting with A Better Tomorrow

[Hong Kong Films blended with anotherworldly continent + unsentimental, decisive, and ruthless protagonist + morally gray + System]

The protagonist is reborn on an otherworldly continent where numerous Hong Kong Films have been fused together. This place is entirely different from the real world: it's a completely new plane. The story begins with A Better Tomorrow. The protagonist first saves Little Horse, who is on the brink of death, and forms a deep brotherly bond with him. Together, they then bring down Boss Tan's entire criminal empire. As the saying goes, heaven and earth balance yin and yang: by day, he's an upright Royal Hong Kong Police officer; by night, he's a judge from hell.

Sing: Boss, stop messing with me. I'm already in my thirties, and you want me to go undercover?

Crow: Sir Sun, this has nothing to do with me. It was all that kid Chan Ho-nam.

Little Jew: I have a congenital heart condition, and I never know when it'll act up. Does that bother you?

Fong Kit-ha: You really are the thickest-skinned person I've ever met.

Beethoven: Sir Sun, it was Ah Chiu who said we should go in and investigate. I swear, it has nothing to do with me.

Ah Chiu: You little brat! Sir Sun, don't listen to Beethoven's nonsense. Here's what really happened.

Tan Sing: I know who you are now...

Lee Ying: A thousand-mile horse is common, but a good judge is hard to find. You're my judge!

Lung Gei-man: Sir Sun, do you believe in fate? The moment I saw you, I knew it was all arranged by heaven.

Hing Fung: Sir Sun, actually, I...

Chiang Tin-sang: This man is the number one nemesis of our Hung Hing Society.
