Wu Yu wants to die, but she is afraid of pain. So she keeps trying to get herself killed, seeking out vicious ghosts and asking them to do the job, provided she feels no pain and does not die too horribly.
But no matter how many times Wu Yu tries, not a single vicious ghost, not even a little ghost, accepts the job.
She cannot help wondering if there are no ghosts in this world. Yet her past experiences have told her that ghosts do exist, which makes it all the more puzzling: why has not one appeared now?
Only much later does Wu Yu learn that the poor ghosts who accepted the job of killing her had already died the moment they tried to attack her.
After waiting nearly a month, Wu Yu finally gets her wish and meets the first ghost who comes to kill her.
Her first reaction is not fear, but amazement at how handsome he is. Then she suddenly wonders what to do, since she is not quite so eager to die anymore.
Of course, Wu Yu gets her wish. He cannot kill her, so the two of them make a deal instead. Wu Yu has no idea that she has landed herself in a huge mess, and in the end, she gets completely caught up in it.
The writing is very good, thank you very much
The storyline is very interesting and I'm looking forward to the follow-up development.
This book is not very scary, but the characters and plot are good and have profound meaning. It is worth reading and highly recommended.
