It turned its victims into frenzied mechanical beings, while those immune to it awakened superpowers known as psionic abilities. The military began deploying large numbers of armed mechs, called Psionic Armaments, to fight the frenzied mechanical hordes.
Major Gu Yu, pilot of the Psionic Armament Predator: Demon Wolf, was ambushed while on a reconnaissance mission. His entire squad was wiped out. When he awoke again, he had lost all his memories, with only a combat android by his side.
